Course Description
Microsoft Office is probably the most widely known and recognized computer application today. It is a tool used every day by millions of computer users around the world and is arguably a skill that everybody must have.
Our course trains students how to use MS Office Productivity Suite in everyday usage, either in as students, in the office or at home for creating simple tabular data and information, organizing recursive data, creating amazing documents integrating tables, pictures, GIFs, bitmaps, etc., preparing simple to complex presentations with images, animations, etc. as well as creating and manipulating simple to fairly complex entry level databases.
Each of these modules have huge capabilities that cannot be exhaustively taught at the Certificate level. Training paths are available up to Intermediate Certificate and Diploma Level. However, for most everyday users, the Certificate course more than adequately equips you for “normal people” use of the computing environment.

It is therefore a must have skill for school children of all ages, young adults and professionals, the elderly, artisans etc. Put simply, if you ever plan to or need to use a computer on a fairly regular basis (and it is hard to see how one wouldn’t in this day and age), then this course is for you.

What you need
This course is available both online and onsite. You will need:
- A steady connection to the internet
- A smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop
- A suitable version of Microsoft Office installed on your device of choice
- Highly Recommended: laptop or desktop
- A Zoom account
Minimum Expectations for Certification
- Attend at least 25 Lecture Hours
- Completion of all assignments and quizzes. Assignments and quizzes constitute 20% of final assessment
- Pass a certification exam with a minimum score of 50%
